Since 1997 Claire Gillingwater has coached many international business leaders and their management teams helping them face the media and analysts – be it at annual results; in a moment of crisis; at the launch of a new product; in an IPO or for every day training needs.
Claire set up Dunnell Gillingwater and Associates in 2005. In 2001 she joined Financial Dynamics as a partner and prior to that she was at Brunswick Group’s coaching division Trinity where she helped build the media training offer. Prior to joining Brunswick in 1997, Claire worked as a journalist for 14 years, beginning her career on the Sheffield Star and Leicester Mercury, before moving into broadcast journalism working as a presenter/reporter at Yorkshire TV, a bulletin editor at TV-am, a producer at Sky News and a news editor at Reuters TV. Claire then moved back into newspapers, returning to work as deputy editor of the Leicester Mercury, editor of the Evening News in Norwich and assistant news editor on the Express in London.
Abi Donald is a management coach with 25 years’ experience in broadcast journalism, reaching the very top of her profession through Reuters TV, ITN and GMTV, becoming the deputy editor of ITV's flagship breakfast programme.
While working in broadcast she coached and trained presenters, correspondents and reporters to deliver compelling content with credibility and authority.
As a management coach Abi has helped senior executives deliver their agenda with confidence and clarity, preparing them for media interviews, presentations or key pitches. She is an accomplished story teller with a natural ear for language allied to a common sense approach to the performance skills of body language and voice control.
Anne McCarthy is an international business leader who has solved complex communications problems for Fortune 500 companies including IBM, SAP, DuPont, Sara Lee Corporation and Polarod and now serves as a trusted advisor for a variety of clients including Arrow Electronics and WhiteWave Foods. She’s lived and worked in Europe and Asia and has deep expertise in such industries as IT, health care, financial services and consumer packaged goods.
Areas of focus include CEO succession plans, M&A announcements and integrations, bankruptcy filings, brand management, employee engagement and crisis communications/issues management.

She currently serves as a trustee at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science in Denver, CO. She was a member of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and served as a trustee of the Arthur W. Page Society for 10 years.
Anne participated in the 2009 Summit on the Global Agenda (World Economic Forum), was named one of the Business 100 by “Irish America” magazine (2009-2013). She participates as a guest lecturer at the Leeds School of Business (University of Colorado) and Michigan State University’s College of Communication Arts and Sciences. She is actively involved with the American Ireland Fund and the Aspen Ideas Festival.
Anne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Michigan State University and has completed executive education programs at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and at INSEAD at Fontainebleau. She lives in Colorado with Mulligan (her Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier) and enjoys tennis, golf, biking and skiing. She is a dual citizen (US and Ireland) and continues to travel the globe.
Charlotte Rastan is a writer and journalist specialising in government marketing campaigns since 1998. Before that, she was a freelance journalist, writing features, articles and profiles mainly for The Independent and The Guardian. She has experience of major marketing and communication campaigns and is well versed in distilling clients’ messages and communicating them with power and clarity. She has spent her career making policy issues relevant and meaningful to specific audiences, to produce persuasive copy, speeches or articles.
Her clients include the Foreign Office, Department of Health, Department for Education and Skills, Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Home Office.
Simon Morton has more than 10 years' experience as camera and soundman and film editor. He has worked with Dunnell Gillingwater for a decade and has now established his own lively video production company which provides all aspects of web and other social media as well as camera work for corporate videos and camera work for training sessions.
Claire Gillingwater has worked with Lisa O'Meara at Lokate design since 1997. Her team of dedicated specialists design and create presentations, brochures, stationery, web sites, reception and exhibition displays, booklets and other key communication tools.
